John “The Haggis Basher” Fraser is the head Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructor at The Butcher Shop. He has lived a life dedicated to the martial arts and is a pioneer of the Sarnia MMA scene. As leader of the infamous 'Team Supreme' John built an 11-5 pro record, becoming Warrior One Featherweight champion and Wreck MMA Bantamweight champion. His fighting style has always had a grappling focus, finishing a number of his opponents by submission. Since retiring from MMA, John has dedicated his later fighting career to gi focussed Jiu Jitsu. Before accomplishing his black belt he won gold in the Brown belt division at the 2022 Ontario Provincial Jiu Jitsu Championships. John is a martial artist who always leads by example and is dedicated to his students.
